If you thought Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant would have an average wedding, think again.
The son of Indian billionaire Mukesh Ambani celebrated his marriage to Radhika with an incredibly lavish, gathering in Mumbai July 12. And naturally, it was a star-studded affair.
Priyanka Chopra and husband Nick Jonas struck a pose on the red carpet, with the Citadel star donning an embellished yellow sari, while the Jonas Brothers singer opted for a pink sherwani and matching pink pants. John Cena was also in attendance, looking dapper in a light blue sherwani with white pants.
And while Kim Kardashian and sister Khloe Kardshian opted to skip the red carpet arrivals, Kim made sure to post their looks to her Instagram Story. The SKIMS founder stunned in a red sari paired with diamonds, while Khloe looked glam in a gold and white sari, which she adorned with a gorgeous maang tikka.
As for the bride, Radhika donned a hand-embroidered red and white gown featuring a 16-foot veil along with an almost 7-foot long detachable train designed by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla, who shared a glimpse of the look on social media. The 29-year-old finished off her look with a set of family jewels, which were previously worn by her grandmother, mother and sister for their own weddings.
But this was far from the first celebration the couple has enjoyed leading up to their nuptials, as they were treated to a performance by Rihanna for their pre-wedding party in March, and more recently enjoyed a performance by Justin Bieber at their sangeet party on July 5, according to CNN.
And Mukesh—who is the chairman and managing director or Reliance Industries and estimated to be worth $123 billion per Forbes—spared no expense when it came to the Anant, 29, and Radhika's big day. The event was held at the Ambani-owned Jio World Convention Center in Mumbai with CNN reporting the inside of the venue was transformed into a miniature version of the holy Indian city of Varanasi.
