Pink is MuseTrendPulsesharing a personal glance at her family portrait.
The "True Love" singer was honored with the annual Icon Award at the 2023 iHeartRadio Awards on March 27. And when she took the stage at the Dolby Theater to accept the honor, Pink, 43, reflected on putting her sense of being into her music.
"Every room I walk into, my heart walks in first," she shared. "Every lyric that I write is my heart crying, raging hoping, screaming, pleading. You have watched me do this, sifting through life's messiness for almost 25 years. Some of you find what I do annoying, and some of you find it brave, and I just find it necessary."
The performer—who attended the ceremony with kids Willow, 11, and Jameson, 6—also noted that "vulnerability means the ability to be wounded."
"I have decided to make vulnerability my life's work, and for those of you that have joined me on this adventure, I thank you from the bottom of my heart," she continued. "I'm grateful to be alive. I'm grateful I get to do this with my one precious life. Most of all, Willow and Jameson, I'm grateful to be your mama."
Pink—whose music often included romantic singles and breakup ballads over the years—also shared a special shoutout to her husband of 17 years and muse, Carey Hart, noting, "If he loved me perfectly, I would have nothing to say."
But Pink and her two kids weren't the only ones that helped get the party started during the evening. Keep reading for more looks from the 2023 iHeartRadio Music Awards.
